I'll take another shot at recreating the problem this weekend. The app is a personal project I'm doing on the side. If and when I identify the specific scenario that inhibits the cursor from displaying I will repost on this forum. Since there's no problem with IE and Firefox, I presume I've encountered some kind of SDK bug, but if I can't reproduce the problem in a sample it doesn't do us any good. The hand cursor to not display with Chrome. So, there's something in my app that I haven't identified that causing For example, it just won’t work on recent macs using Chrome. Youll need to enable NPAPI plugins Silverlight is blocked for the particular website youre trying to access. Other companies seem to have decided that means they’re not going to support Silverlight. When Silverlight is installed in Chrome but doesnt run, two different scenarios are possible: Silverlight is blocked because all NPAPI plugins are globally disabled in your Chrome settings.

I'm getting the hand cursor with Chrome on my test application. Silverlight is currently in end of lifetime support from Microsoft. I just spent over an hour trying to recreate the problem outside of my application and I haven't been able to do it. I'm basically using the buttons for navigation which displays a list of menu options on the left side of the page. The buttons are part of a user control which is placed in a Content Control inside a Page. So, it sounds similar to your test application. The buttons are inside a grid which is part of a Data Template of a Data Grid.
